OUR STORY

Kidtastic Learning Academy (Kidtastic) is Australian family-owned childcare centre. Kidtastic recognises the importance of a child’s first six years of life. Both myself and my wife have combined our passion and an in-depth knowledge to put Kidtastic on the map. Our greatest strengths at Kidtastic is our combined talent, experience and expertise. We are passionate, intuitive, and we want to make the best use of our more than 30 years of primary, secondary and tertiary education experience thus Kidtastic is grounded on the principles of Early Years Learning Framework - Being, Belonging, Becoming, and NQF. Kidtastic has developed an ever-evolving environment that allows for intentional teaching and spontaneous learning, to enable each child to develop life-long skills of empowerment, interrelating, independence, resilience, and social competence.Kidtastic, being a learning organisation, employs experienced, qualified, and skilled staff. Kidtastic fosters friendly culture and respects the individuality of all families and their backgrounds.Kidtastic aims to provide excellence in early childhood care and education in an adopting, nurturing, safe and welcoming environment. Primary objective of our Kidtastic Learning Academy is to ensure that every child that attends our center is given the best opportunity to share, learn and grow.

At Kidtastic we believe in providing children with a highest quality of care. In planning our program we strive for a developmentally appropriate, child-centred atmosphere where children have the opportunity to master new challenges through activities and topics that are meaningful to them, thus building their self-esteem as they develop and learn. This is built through our relationships and knowledge within our daily practices with children, families, and educators. Our goal as an educator is to provide children with a rich environment where they feel safe to explore, initiate learning, and express themselves. We aim to build secure and trusting relationship as Children need the assurance of being loved and cared for while they are enjoying an educational environment. Teaching children is our passion. Security and trust are very important components of our relationship with each child.We believe that each child is an individual and as an educator, we will value and develop each child's strengths, interests, skills, abilities and knowledge to extend their learning. As educators we will strive to uphold each family’s cultural heritage and tradition. We will celebrate the benefits of diversity with each individual child and enable them to understand and acknowledge differences. As an educator we are responsible for providing infants, toddlers and young children with positive learning experiences. We will strive to model respect, patience, and care for children and adults we come in contact with. Children have the right to have their needs met and receive the proper education while in the care of their caregivers.We value the importance of play. We believe that children learn through play. We will provide opportunities for children to explore, discover, create and imagine. Our learning environments are created to be warm, nurturing, fun and stimulating to all children.
